GW-BSE calculation

#1 Post by cryyorone » Thu Mar 08, 2012 9:02 am

Hi everyone I am trying to calculate excitation energy by using GW and Bethe Salpeter Equation.
However, even if I found the way to get accurate band gap by using GW method, I still can't find the way to get excitation energy by using Bethe-Salpeter Equation(BSE).
Only I found is a brief explanation about BSE in VASP release note.
Can you guys tell me the way to perform BSE calculation in VASP?

I too have the same question. Did you get any information about this question?
Could you please explain how to implement BSE in VASP if you gone through it
