How to Generate Hydrogen with smaller Valence number

#1 Post by b_lack » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:11 am

Dear All,

I've done investigation using different type of valence on hydrogen (0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5), and the relaxation state is quite different, that smaller the valence just like only bound to single ion.

My question is, how can we generate another much more smaller hydrogen valence? for example 0.1 or even much more smaller like 0.05 or 0.01, because right now I try to simulate proton interaction with crystal, but because we cant have H+ state, so I start to think "is it possible to used hydrogen with really small valence or not?", but this is just a small investigation, that I still don't know can we done that or not

It would be glad if you have any suggestion also

Thanks, ^_^

I think the hydrogens with different valance have the corresponding different nuclear charge as well such that the atoms remain neutral. I doubt that hydrogen atoms with very small valance correspond to ionized atoms.
