Hi Vasp users,
I have this error when i try to do calculations with larger systems (only more than 20 atoms!!! and kpoints: 20x20x1): Exit with code 139...an then i have the message line 8: 28151 segmentation fault??? Somebody can help me?
thanks
Sebastian

you probably run out of memory because of the large number of k-points. Please try to do (one of) the following
1) run vasp parallel, on more nodes to distribute the memory
2) reduce the number of k-points (if possible, eg by using the symmetry of your system to decrease the number pf k-points in the irreducible part of the BZ.)
3) decrease the cutoff, is possible (eg using softer PPs, lower PREC)
