Dear all,
I want to plot the Fermi surface. I figured that EIGENVAL can be used for that purpose which however needs a dense k-point mesh. There are also coordinates of the k-points, energy levels in PROCAR file. I am wondering if PROCAR is also suitable for plotting Fermi surfaces.

in principle yes, but PROCAR will be much more compliacted to use.
I would use EIGENVAL.
