Berry Phase--what is the meaning of "*c" for BP term, and should it be zero?

Queries about input and output files, running specific calculations, etc.

Berry Phase--what is the meaning of "*c" for BP term, and should it be zero?

#1 Post by kcousins » Mon Apr 28, 2014 6:04 pm

Hi all

I've read and reread papers and documentation, and combed this list (on which similar questions have been asked several times, but not, that I could find, answered).

My question: When doing Berry Phase calculations, my BP term always has non-zero values for the *c term which followed the BP term.

I think (correct or incorrect?) that this should be zero. I don't know how to make it zero, or if non-zero, how to incorporate the values into my BP calculation.

Thanks,
Kim

this term refers to the indeterminacy of the BP term.
