dear all:
reading the manual,I found there is ‘tag’ flowing some parameters。
could someone tell mei if the ’tag‘ has some special mean。

If you are not familiar with the meaning of English words, I recommend you to look them up in a dictionary.
tag = "a label attached to someone or something for the purpose of identification or to give other information"
Source: Oxford online dictionary
E.g.
EDIFF-tag: EDIFF is the label you will add to your INCAR to provide information about the global break condition for the electronic SC-loop.

Actually I was wondering what the -CAR suffix means.
I dont think the dictionary will tell me that.

it has no special, but historical (in the development history of vasp) meaning
